County of San Diego Proclaims June 2, 2007 "ROEL Construction Day"

San Diego , CA . . . To commemorate ROEL Construction Company's significant contributions to the building of San Diego and the company's 90 th Anniversary, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors proclaimed June 2nd, to be “ROEL Construction Day”. According to the County of San Diego 's proclamation, “ROEL Construction has been earning a reputation for high integrity and the ability to deliver timely and cost-effective construction projects”. Chairman Ron Roberts and all members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors further commended ROEL Construction for its outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to area residents.

ROEL is currently progressing on an impressive new facility for National University in Kearny Mesa. The project consists of a 37,000-square-foot tilt-up classroom building, a 6,000-square-foot CMU aquatic center building, and a 314-space pre-cast parking structure. Upon completion early this fall, the new campus will expand its already high standard of learning and optimal scheduling flexibility that National University students have come to expect.

Construction of Father Joe's Villages, an Affordable/Workforce Housing development in the Ballpark Redevelopment District, is also underway for ROEL . The 217,115-square-foot project will be located on 16 th and Market Streets and will consist of 136 apartment units in a 12-story building with retail space on the first floor and two levels of underground parking. This groundbreaking project helps Father Joe's Villages c ontinue to live up to their motto: Neighbors Helping Neighbors ® , and allows ROEL to be a part of that quest . Construction is scheduled to complete in December 2008.
