ROEL Progresses on Tenant Improvement Construction of Qualcomm's Building AT

San Diego , CA … ROEL Construction is progressing on tenant improvement construction of QUALCOMM, Incorporated's Building AT. Construction of this 75,000-square-foot project consists of building out office space on four floors of the building and new elevator lobbies. Completion is scheduled for June 2006.

QUALCOMM, Inc. is the owner, represented by Peter Katsiapis & Mike Bates. Joanne Christy of San Diego-based Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker is the architect. Design consultants to the design team include Louis Abbott and Gene Walsh of Walsh Engineers and Randy Minner of MPE Consulting . ROEL representatives include Wayne Hickey as project executive, Doug Briggs as group manager, Gaurav Shah as project manager, Alice Trinidad as the assistant project manager, Gary LaFever as superintendent, and Shawna McClure as project coordinator.

Major subcontractors include Cement Cutting Inc., Spring Valley Insulation Contractors, Johnson, Barnes, & Finch, SCS Flooring Systems, General Coatings Corporation, Western Fire Protection Inc., Schmidt Fire Protection Company Inc., Collins Plumbing Inc., Control Air Conditioning Corp., and Prime Electrical Services Inc.
