ROEL Completes Phase II Tenant Improvement Construction for National University
Los Angeles , CA … ROEL Construction has completed phase II tenant improvements for National University located at 5245 Pacific Concourse Drive . The 12,000-square-foot phase consisted of tenant improvements on the third floor, including new student lounge area, conference rooms, restrooms, classrooms, rated corridor extension, and new television studio, sound control room and adjoining video control booth. The entire 64,000-square-foot project included a complete remodel to three floors of the existing building and consisted of high-end custom finishes, including wood acoustic ceilings, custom millwork, fabric wrapped acoustic wall panels, and cherry wood veneer wall finishes.
The 70,000-square-foot building was recently acquired from Newport Beach based Greenlaw Partners by members of the Doheny family and is managed by G&N Management, an affiliate which was represented by Kurt Bierschenk. Stu Markey, Alan Smith, Dr. Jerry Lee, and Richard Carter were all representatives for National University. Paul Schroeder of Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker was the architect. Jamie Schnick of TKG Consulting Engineers, was the electrical engineer. ROEL representatives included Betty Lynn Senes as project executive, Mike Renna as senior project manager, Chad Barnes as assistant project manager, Matt Bukowiecki as superintendent, and Glynis Carter as project coordinator.
