ROEL Lifts Panels for National University 
San Diego , CA … ROEL Constuction Co. has completed the lifting of the concrete tilt-up panels for National University 's new facility in Kearny Mesa. The project consists of a 37,000-square-foot tilt-up classroom building, a 6,000-square-foot CMU aquatic center building, and a 314-space pre-cast parking structure. Completion is scheduled for October 2007.
Stuart Markey is the representative for National University. David Salud represents Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker. Consultants to the design team include Hope Engineering, RBF Consulting, and TKG Consulting Engineers. ROEL representatives include Mike Berryhill as senior project manager, Tim Book as project manager, Vic Johnson as superintendent, Dustan Foley as project engineer, and Crystal Smith as project coordinator.
Subcontractors for this $15 million project include Rick Engineering Company, Cement Cutting, Rand Engineering, Quality Reinforcing, Modern Masonry, International Iron Products, McBride Door & Hardware, Sunset Glazing, Otis Elevator, Schmidt Fire Protection, Pacific Rim Mechanical, Demcon Concrete Contractors, and Prime Electric.
