ROEL Completes Phase I of Xavier College Preparatory High School
Thousand Palms, CA… ROEL Construction has completed phase I of the new Xavier College Preparatory High School located at 34-200 Chase School Road . Phase I of this 96-acre project included a 44,000-square-foot gym and a 44,000-square-foot building with 12 classrooms. Phase II will add more classrooms, a food service building, and a football stadium. Eventually, the high school is slated to have a library, a performing arts center, administrative buildings, and a full athletic complex. Xavier will be the first Catholic high school in the Palm Desert area.
Landmark Golf Company was the construction manager and TBP/Architecture was the architect. ROEL representatives included Ben Briggs as senior project manager, Joe Prior as project manager, Craig White and Fidel Olvera as superintendents, and Diane Huston as project coordinator.
Major subcontractors for this $18 million project included Nolte Associates, Tidwell Concrete Construction, White's Steel, JD2, Inc., Davis Framing, Al Miller & Sons Roofing, Buxcon Sheet Metal, Guy Evans, Magik Glass & Door, Best Interiors, Paramount Tile, Rusco Inc., Dow Diversified, Schmidt Fire Protection, Otis Elevator, Kincaid Plumbing, California Comfort Systems, and Cove Electric.
