ROEL Progresses on Construction of Boyd Gaming Corporate Offices
Las Vegas , NV … ROEL Construction Co. is progressing on tenant improvement construction of the Boyd Gaming Corporate Offices. Boyd Gaming ( www.boydgaming.com ) is headquartered in Las Vegas and is the owner and operator of 16 gaming entertainment properties, plus one in development, located in six states. The four-story 109,000-square-foot project consists of a complete build out of the existing shell building. The building has never been occupied but was originally wired for multiple tenants. All the installed switchgear will be removed and replaced with a new single meter system. This project will also include demolition, concrete block, interior metal stud framing, landscaping, structural steel, and site work. Completion is scheduled for March 2007 for this fast track project.
Ralph Weise, Ellen Villars Homan, Jon Richardson, Dennis Siano, and Melissa Kindhart represent the owner, Boyd Gaming. Michael Hawla of YWS Architects is the architect and Carol Howes of Ward & Howes Associates is the interior designer. Lochsa Engineering is the structural engineer and MSA Engineering Consultants are providing electrical and mechanical engineering. ROEL representatives include Wayne Hickey as project executive, Brian Roush as group manager, Russ Engel as senior project manager, Mike Bolda as project engineer, Kevin Flynn and Steve Elliott are superintendents, and Janice Dempsey as project coordinator.
